The Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) has announced its first-ever Conference on Artificial Intelligence & the Law (TCAIL), scheduled for December 6, 2024, in Nashville. This landmark event will bring together legal professionals, judges, and AI experts to discuss the intersection of artificial intelligence and legal practice. The conference will be held at the Tennessee Bankers Association building and will feature a series of sessions on how AI is impacting legal research, document generation, e-discovery, and other aspects of the legal profession.
A.J. Bahou, Chair of TBA’s AI Task Force, will open the event with an introductory session, setting the stage for discussions on AI’s influence on the substantive practice of law. The event will also include two judicial panels, where judges will share their insights on how AI is being integrated into court processes, and an ethics session focused on the responsible use of AI in legal settings. Members of TBA’s Law Office Technology & Management Section and General, Solo & Small Firm Section are eligible for discounted registration.
The conference aims to equip lawyers with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI in legal practice, emphasizing both the opportunities and challenges that AI presents.
