argument: Notizie/News - International Law

According to an article by Kyodo News, the G7 nations will pledge to promote responsible AI use in military applications at their upcoming summit in  Borgo Egnazia, Italy, from June 13. The draft communique emphasizes the need for safe, secure, and trustworthy AI, highlighting the importance of addressing risks like disinformation. This move aligns with the European Union's recent AI regulations, which include a ban on social scoring systems. The G7's action plan will focus on enhancing workplace productivity and ensuring compliance with international law in military contexts. Additionally, the leaders will support international rule-making through the "Hiroshima AI Process," launched at last year's summit. The G7 comprises Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, and the EU.
