Business Eye announces that Ulster University’s Centre for Legal Technology has launched a major new research initiative focused on artificial intelligence and the law. The programme, starting in April 2025, aims to explore how AI can be integrated into legal systems while upholding justice, accountability, and public trust.

The Centre will work on interdisciplinary projects including ethical AI development, legal automation, regulatory design, and public policy. It will also collaborate with international institutions and regulatory bodies to help shape responsible AI governance.

This positions Ulster University as a leading academic institution in the field of legal AI innovation.
