According to an article on LexisNexis Middle East, Bahrain's Shoura Council is set to review a draft Artificial Intelligence Law in its next session. This legislation aims to regulate the use of artificial intelligence within the country, introducing penalties for violations that could include jail terms of at least three years or fines of up to 2,000 Dinars. Proposed by five members of parliament, the draft law will be forwarded to the relevant Council Committee for consideration upon approval​​.
