The campaign utilized AI-generated imagery and large-language models to produce numerous posts on social media, targeting Kagame’s opponents and the Congo conflict. The U.S. and U.N. have criticized Rwanda for its military support of M23 rebels in Congo. Kagame's administration denies these allegations, emphasizing the AI's role in managing information and rebutting accusations.
