According to an article from UNESCO, UNESCO is spearheading efforts to advance AI ethics in Bangladesh through its Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM). This initiative, in collaboration with Bangladesh's ICT Ministry and Aspire to Innovate (a2i), aims to evaluate the country's preparedness for AI implementation, focusing on ethical considerations. RAM assesses various dimensions, including technological infrastructure, legislation, and the economy, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify institutional and regulatory gaps.
